Issue Position

This term, I've served on the House Energy and Climate Finance and Policy Committee. During my time on this committee, I have seen firsthand the sorts of energy mandates that Democrats are trying to enact. Pursuing clean energy is a good thing, but the science is not ready to support these sorts of clean energy mandates.

We need to pursue policies that provide affordable and reliable energy for Minnesotans. Onerous mandates will only serve to drive up costs and put our energy grid at risk--especially in cold weather months.
