Issue Position

Melissa firmly believes that every woman's right to choose is a fundamental liberty and should be protected regardless of her ability to pay, and will support policies that aid in family planning and access to contraception. Women should solely be allowed to make decisions about their own bodies and their health.

Women deserve equal workplace protections and income opportunities. Melissa will support policies that level the playing field and address pay equity for women, and particularly women of color.
