I support Governor Janet Mills' goals of 80 percent renewable energy by 2030 and emissions reductions of 80 percent by 2050. We must hit these benchmarks. The State of Maine, must partner with the private sector to invest in renewable energy such as solar and wind energy. Maine has the opportunity to embody its motto, Dirigo, and lead the charge by creating one of the strongest green energy sectors.
