All Mainers recognize the importance of a well rounded education and the impact that has on developing a child's future. Most of us take great pride in our schools and find it comforting to know "our kids" are in good hands, have a safe place to learn and are receiving a quality education. We must find ways to lessen the financial burden on individual communities while continuing to provide high-quality public education, improving the quality of child-care and early learning program
