Issue Position

Climate change is a real challenge which Kansas must be prepared to face. Our state has become a leader in wind energy and the further development of alternative fuels is a source of great economic and environmental potential for the state. At the same time, we have to prepare to adapt to a changing climate, including protecting our water resources and dealing with the impact of flooding and other weather events on the agricultural and other sectors of the economy.
