In Missouri, there are school districts with four day school weeks and our teachers are paid well below the national average. Our education system is an investment in our children and our future, and we need to make it a priority. We must end the cuts to K-12 education and higher education that our Governor makes every year, and we need to start paying teachers more to attract people into the profession.
