Issue Position

We must fully fund our public schools, pay our teachers competitive salaries, eliminate high-stakes testing, and ensure access to both higher education and accelerated training programs for our high school graduates. Anna will never arm our teachers and will instead invest in meaningful school safety measures including mental health and crisis intervention programs along with trauma-informed care beginning at early-ed. Anna is also a passionate advocate for public education, Bright Futures, and advocates against efforts to privatize our traditional public schools with tax dollars. Students, teachers, and parents need our support, and they need it now.
