Osceola schools currently receive far less money than other School Districts across the state. Our children are just as important as kids in wealthier communities! I will fight for fair and adequate funding for all Osceola school children. We also need to elevate/revitalize teaching so that it's once again a sought-after occupation. I think now more than ever we all must appreciate the job educators do on a daily basis and reward them for it. By addressing the issues created by the school funding model, we can work to recruit and retain the best teachers and keep them educating our kids.
