Issue Position

I often have said that Kansas is facing difficult issues but this may be the most unforeseen. Our state is in the midst of a significant economic downturn as a result of the global pandemic. This pandemic has caused unemployment numbers never seen before. I can't make the pandemic go away but I am committed to focusing on what matters most to hard-working families and seniors. I will collaborate with legislators from both sides of the aisle to work towards new solutions.

Kansas should be a state where everyone feels accepted for who they are, where each Kansan has access to affordable health care and a quality public education system. I will continue to work to be a part of a legislature that solves problems instead of creating them.
I am a mom of two daughters, a grandmother to five grandchildren, a widow, a retired preschool teacher, and an advocate for the 6th district. I hope you will join our campaign. We are all better together.
