Where Joel Stands
Small businesses employ 2.2 million Ohioans, making up 46% of our workforce. As a state we can be doing more to support small business growth and sustainability. We can streamline the permitting and incorporation process for small businesses that want to start in Ohio; we need to provide more relief to small businesses struggling due to COVID-19 at the state level; and we need to level the playing field for small businesses so they can stay competitive. Big corporations need to be held accountable to the same standards as our small businesses.
