Where Joel Stands
The State needs to uphold, not undermine, Supreme Court Decisions like Roe v. Wade and ensure women have safe and accessible healthcare. Moreover, healthcare decisions about a woman's body belong in the privacy of a doctor's office between a woman and her doctor.

The state also needs to be an advocate for equal pay. As a strong union advocate, I know that equitable pay is labor justice. We especially need to focus on women of color that are paid a fraction of their earned dollar.
