Today, Rep. Ted Budd (R-NC) officially co-sponsored a Constitutional Amendment that caps the number of justices on the Supreme Court at nine.
Rep. Budd said in a statement:
"As Democrats radically propose packing the Supreme Court with left-wing justices, this Constitutional Amendment is needed now more than ever. A political party should not be able to fundamentally warp the structure of our country's highest court because they refuse to accept the fact that a President gets to nominate new justices during his full, four-year term."
