Moolenaar Statement on the Passing of State Trooper Caleb Starr

Michigan State Trooper Caleb Starr, who worked at the State Police post in Lakeview, passed away late Friday from injuries that occurred when he was struck by a drunk driver while on duty on July 10.

Congressman John Moolenaar made the following statement on his passing:

"Trooper Caleb Starr was dedicated to serving our state and protecting our communities as a member of the Michigan State Police at the Lakeview Post. Today, I am praying for his wife, his daughters, and all of his colleagues in law enforcement as they mourn his passing."
