Issues: Sexual Orientation and Gender Identity

We need to ensure that we are treating all people with respect regardless of their gender identity or sexuality. Everyone has a right to be who they are, and to not be discriminated against. I'm grateful for the work the Legislature has done to protect those rights for LGBTQ members of our community, but there is more to do. I've spent my whole career fighting for underserved people, and I will continue that work for LGBTQ people at the Capitol.
