Our transportation infrastructure is failing to serve Colorado's growing population. In order to ensure our safety, we need to repair and maintain our roads, tunnels, and bridges, while investing in projects that not only lessen our current traffic problems, but also help us reach our sustainability goals.
Infrastructure funding is an investment in the quality of life and safety of Colorado. It's vital that we work to increase infrastructure spending in a fiscally responsible manner, and ensure money is being spent on innovative, sustainable solutions wisely.
