*High-quality education is the pathway to opportunity. Bend's leaders must go above and beyond to ensure that every student has access to school counselors, nurses, librarians, small class sizes, and to courses like art, music and PE that keep them engaged. We must do more to support our community college and universities to help more students access affordable higher education.

*Too many of our neighbors are struggling to keep a roof over their heads, and it's up to us to attack this crisis from every angle. We need a leader who will take bold action to ensure that every family in Bend has access to a safe place to call home.

*The climate crisis is already having a negative impact on Oregon's communities, and it's past time for us to take action and ensure we leave this world a better place for our children. Our leaders must work to protect our natural environment, ensuring that Central Oregon has clean air, water and land for generations to come.

*If we want to tackle the big challenges - from affordable housing, to education, healthcare, and the climate crisis - Bend needs a leader willing to fight for us.
