Issue Position

We want to keep our community vibrant, one in which the people who have lived and worked here can continue to be in Central Oregon. There is a supply shortage of affordable housing which causes the market prices for homes to increase. The market alone will not create affordable housing, our campaign will advocate for ways to reduce cost so that these projects are financially viable. Emerson will use her background in finance and real estate law to work with the cities and counties to create a solution that is economically viable but with values lead decision making that we all deserve a roof over our head and economic diversity in our community.
