Childcare is a huge issue in Central Oregon. There are openings for only one in three children under the age of five in registered Central Oregon child care centers and in-home providers. In the legislature, we will work to tackle important issues that make it hard to build childcare facilities in Oregon, like a lack of workers, land, and capital.
