Issue Position

The Waukee School District is one of the best in the state. We as a community take pride in that, but there is always room for improvement. Supporting our teachers should be at the center of our efforts.

It's important we protect parents and the rising cost of higher education in Iowa. We need to start paying attention to the unaffordable state of college education in this country. Middle class families shouldn't have to go broke from sending their children to college in Iowa. We need to become committed to controlling rising costs of tuition at our public universities. Let's work together to find a reasonable solution to this and put our kids first.
