Springfield politicians raised the income tax twice in recent years, yet it has done nothing to get spending under control or to a place where Illinois can pay its bills on time. Now, those same politicians are asking taxpayers to make it easier to raise taxes by altering Illinois' constitution.

Amy opposes efforts that place additional financial burdens on taxpayers and believes the already high taxes are driving businesses and residents away from our state. As a Township trustee, she cut Foster Township's tax levy by 20%.
