Supports strong North Carolina schools, quality education for our children, our hard-working teachers, and the empowerment of families to make the best educational choices for their children. I support school choice. We can achieve excellence in education and student performance through expanding opportunity in educational options, including work-based programs. No longer should a family's income or zip code dictate access to a better school. As the mother of two children in the Wake County Public School System, PTA President, Founder and Director of a non-profit serving community youth in music arts, I will continue to fight for children, families and top quality education in NC.
