Issue Position: Improving Roads and Infrastructure

Issue Position

The tax revenue generated by our area's own drivers and our many visitors needs to make its way back up here from Columbia. I was proud to support recent road funding and DOT reforms that brought more transparency and removed politics from the process.

Drivers in our area are seeing the difference that putting an emphasis on roads and infrastructure can make in our lives. Road upgrades and improvements contribute to quality of life, public safety, and economic development -- fairly funded by a tax that all of us contribute to.
