Rob passed a law that increases Homeowner Exemptions and Senior Exemptions for residents of Cook County. Homeowners and seniors in Rob's district will save approximately $225 a year on property taxes. Senior homeowners receive both -- and save $450 a year. Rob's bill also expanded the eligibility for the Senior Freeze to senior citizens with a total household income of $65,000 a year or less. This allows more seniors to stay in their homes, providing stability to the neighborhood.
