The rate of $7.25 has been unchanged for the past 10 years, while the cost of living has risen more than 13 percent since 2009. All states surrounding PA have higher minimum wages. One job should be enough, parents are overworking themselves in order to cover the bills for their families. This takes them away from children when they are needed most. People in Philadelphia deserve to be able to work one job and support their households.
