Grothman Statement on Hanukkah

Today, Congressman Glenn Grothman (R-Glenbeulah) released the following statement in observance of the final day of Hanukkah:

"As Hanukkah ends tonight, I want to, one more time, say Chag Sameach! Happy Hanukkah!" Said Grothman. "Hanukkah is a joyous occasion that celebrates an important part of Jewish history. I am thankful for all of my Jewish friends and hope they have enjoyed a happy and safe holiday season.

While many are celebrating and spending time with family, let us not forget that anti-Semitism is still far too prevalent throughout the United States and the world. Earlier this month we saw an anti-Semitic shooting at a grocery store in New Jersey and just this past weekend a man broke into a New York Rabbi's home and stabbed five people. These heinous acts have no place in our society. I will continue to use my position in Congress to promote pro-Jewish policies and sentiments."
