Gary recognizes that Louisiana is a transportation hub: Louisiana is blessed to contain the mouth of the great Mississippi River, and all 6 Class A railroads have assets in New Orleans. It is Louisiana's strategic location that made it great, and Gary wants to invest heavily in Louisiana's natural assets to create jobs now and grow our economy for generations. Gary's economic development plan calls for incentivizing the manufacturing of raw materials that flow into the ports of Louisiana.
