Oversight of local government has become an important issue in St. Tammany. Having served on the task force to develop a plan for a St. Tammany Inspector General, Mark knows that the best way to address this issue is to enhance the power of and increase the resources for the Louisiana's State Inspector General. Mark believes we need to give that office the authority to look at local matters and help eliminate waste, fraud and abuse.
