It is clear that our transportation infrastructure is a real problem in Louisiana. Mark believes that, before looking at increasing taxes, we need to reform the Department of Transportation and Development. This should begin by spending more of our gas taxes locally and not relying on political favors from the Governor. Further, we must improve performance, before debating whether or not there is enough money to build roads and freight infrastructure.
