U.S. Rep. Diana DeGette (D-CO) released the following statement today in response to the president's decision to delay an Immigration and Customs Enforcement operation targeting immigrant families in Denver and elsewhere:

"The president should be working with us to fix our nation's broken immigration system, not threatening to rip these vulnerable families apart. These are people, not pawns in some political game."
