Higgins Cosponsors Pro-Life Protections

Statement

Congressman Clay Higgins (R-LA) is cosponsoring six pieces of legislation that would advance pro-life protections and prohibit the use of taxpayer funds for abortion services.

Congressman Higgins is an original cosponsor of the following pro-life bills:

H.R. 219, No Abortion Bonds Act
H.R. 296, Title X Abortion Provider Prohibition Act
H.R. 490, Heartbeat Protection Bill
H.R. 616, Life at Conception Act
Pain-Capable Unborn Child Protection Act
No Taxpayer Funding for Abortion Act

Congressman Higgins issued the following statement:

"As children of God, we are called to protect the most innocent, including the unborn. There is no gift more precious than a child's life. My office will continue to support pro-life protections and stand against any Democrat-led effort to expand abortion services."
