Issue Position: Education

Issue Position

Thomas Jefferson once wrote to a colleague "I think by far the most important bill in our whole code is that for the diffusion of knowledge among the people."

I believe education is important. I also believe it is best controlled by the parents sitting on our local school boards -- as opposed to removed bureaucrats in far off places like Jefferson City and Washington, D.C. I also believe that we need a greater investment in the skilled trades and technical schools.
