As a third-generation employee of a family business, which my grandfather built from the ground up, I understand the importance of small business in our community. I understand the value of an individual's hard work. It is senseless regulations and overburden taxes placed on small businesses by state and local officials that hinder growth.
I believe we should remove every barrier that restricts the financial success and freedoms of Marylanders.
We need to encourage economic policies that lead to job creations in our community that can help employ more of our residents. More economic opportunity leads to a more prosperous community. I look forward to speaking with business creators in the district to learn about their needs and how we can improve the overall business climate in this community.
We should let the nation know that Maryland is open for business and let companies who are looking to relocate know that we have a great work force ready to help them be successful.
