Issue Position

WORKER'S RIGHTS AND ORGANIZED LABOR:
..I would argue you CANNOT have one without the other.

I believe a fair day's pay for a fair day's work is not only a moral obligation, but good for our economy. NO ONE WHO WORKS SHOULD BE POOR. While worker productivity has experienced substantial increases for many years, our minimum wage has not kept pace with inflation. On top of all of that, so-called "Right to Work" (for less) stands to demolish the middle class. Throw in at-will employment and MOSB43, the oppressive conditions under which Republicans want us to work is downright shameful. As your State Representative and a card-carrying, dues-paying Union Educator, I vow to continue fighting for workers, conditions that keep us safe, and livable wages.
