Our country has been rocked by senseless acts of gun violence from our schools to our places of worship. The recent attacks at schools here in Maryland have rocked us as a community. As Delegate, I'll prioritize school safety and work with our County government, Board of Education, Montgomery County Public Schools (MCPS) and the community at-large to secure funding so school security is upgraded and greater funding is available for mental health as well as counselors. I'm proud to be certified by Mom's Demand Action as a "Gun Sense Candidate" and I'm committed to working with stakeholders to do all we can to make sure a tragedy like this never happens again.
