Most of the things that small business owners worry about are things that they have little or no control over--rising interest cost, healthcare cost, a lack of oversight of contract bidding, and the new White House administration. If we can't expect fairness from our government, then our economy will fail. Other concerns for our local businesses and unions is the chance to be at the table when decisions are being made about state and local infrastructure contracts and labor negotiations.
As your State Delegate, I will support the groups that make our county prosperous, but this can only happen if I have your support via email, voices, letters or phones calls that will advocate for positive and honest collective bargaining and ethical practices in awarding contracts. We need our small businesses to thrive so that our communities can also be productive.
