Housing is considered one of the major engine that drives America's economy. Because, where we live impacts where we work, where our children can attend school, and the type of community that surrounds my family. For most Prince Georgians, housing is our chief expense, and it governs nearly every other financial decision we make, including how much of our income we put away in savings and how much we're able to invest into the county.

Housing is a complex problem which requires a complex solution, and as legislators we need consistent conversations about income stagnation, the decline of homeownership, revitalizing local economies, and more. Solutions will begin with decent rental, a practical tax base, and housing tax credit. We have a robust housing tax credit at the federal level, but we need to do more at the State level. I pledge to work with legislators to find ways to improve the burdens of the real property tax and to implement programs to support all Prince Georgians and especially those with limited incomes.
