As a career law enforcement officer of almost 40 years, I am a vehement supporter of our Second Amendment rights to own and bear arms. Police officers, military personal, and even elected officials all have this in common, they swear, under oath, to uphold and defend the Constitution. I will forever honor that oath.
Despite what the ill-advised want to believe, taking away the guns of law-abiding citizens will not stop gun violence, nor prevent criminals from obtaining fire arms.
