Issue Position

I believe in a woman's right to choose. I believe that the pro life/pro choice labels are just another divisive talking point. Instead of putting people in one category or another, we should respect the real life decisions women and their families face every day. What we can all agree on is reducing the number of unintended pregnancies and abortions through education.

Women of all ages need to have access to affordable effective birth control. It is important that abortion remain safe and legal medical procedure for a woman to consider -- if and when she needs it.

Government has no business telling a woman when and how to plan a family. And politicians make poor doctors.
