Issue Position

I believe every child has a right to a quality K-12 education. I support strong funding for our schools and paying good teachers well. I also believe local control over education is critical. To that end, I will fight any attempts by the federal government to dictate to local schools how to educate our kids. Parents and local school boards, not Washington D.C. bureaucrats, should be empowered to make decisions concerning the education of Missouri's children.
