Ryan is a strong supporter of the 2nd amendment which guarantees the right of the people to keep and bear arms that cannot be infringed. This fundamental right must be protected for all Hoosiers, and he will defend your rights to protect yourself and your family. Ryan has been a long-time member of the NRA and has received their highest citizen "A" rating. In fact, Ryan is the only candidate that has been a long-time member of the NRA and has a lifetime conceal carry permit. Ryan understands that the Constitution should be the only concealed carry permit required to exercise your rights. Ryan also will make sure that criminals receive the full extent of the law when firearms are used illegally or involved in crime. Ryan will work hard in the Legislature to ensure your rights are not eroded and that Hoosiers remain free to exercise the right to bear arms.
