If we are going to retain our children and our grandchildren, Terre Haute and Vigo County must be aggressive in competing for jobs. I will work with our city and county officials and with our educational institutions to make sure we are competitive. I will work for better job training, and job retraining, with our schools, Ivy Tech, ISU, businesses and unions, finding ways to support the best vocational and apprenticeship programs. We have a great story to tell and I want to be part of telling it.
