Charles is a life-long resident of the North Shore of Staten Island. He is raising his family here. While crime may currently be down, Charles knows far too well that this absolutely cannot happen without the work of the community. To keep this momentum Charles will:

Fiercely advocate to continue and increase funding for programs that use the Cure Violence methods, which engage community members to become "violence interrupters" with extensive training

Speak daily with the NYPD community officers to gauge the needs they have in order to keep the communities they serve safe

Help ensure and facilitate relationships between Cure Violence groups, the community, and local officers
