Strong public schools are essential to our democracy, economy, and opportunity for upward mobility. We must ensure all schools and students get the resources they need: universal pre-K, highly qualified diverse teachers, and college and career readiness. We can't afford to underfund education any longer. We must approve the Fix the Fund Act and stop diverting public dollars to private schools to fully fund the recommendations of the Kirwan Commission.
