As a conservative businessman, Tim is committed to growing our economy. His top priority is to help recruit new jobs to North Alabama. He will keep taxes low and reduce unnecessary regulations so the private sector can grow and create jobs. Tim has worked with other members of the legislative delegations to bring more economic development to North Alabama. Among the projects that Tim has successfully pushed for are the expansion of Hwy 43 and the upcoming workforce development center and adjacent agricultural multipurpose facility.
In addition to a pro-business environment and robust infrastructure, growing the economy also requires a quality education system. Tim understands that the education and business communities must work together to make sure that our students are prepared to enter the workforce and that they have the skills that businesses need to fill the high-wage, high-demand job of the future. Tim knows that a quality education system and skilled workforce will attract new industries to North Alabama and help existing businesses grow and create more jobs.
