Issue Position

At some point we must balance cherishing and memorializing our heritage of the past with positioning for the new future norms of 21st century expectations. We must position ourselves both individually and collectively to identify and preserve the best changes and discourage the destructive changes. These adjustments won't happen overnight or by accident, but rather on purpose with a dedicated joint effort.
Our rural counties need assistance with ideas to provide work opportunities that enhance the quality of life without having to move away from the places they love. State employees should receive proper compensation.
Dr. Roberts is willing to roll up his sleeves and work hard to help especially southern WV once again experience that "Almost Heaven" feeling of pride when progress is being made.
