Issue Position

Plymouth, Minnetonka and Woodland have access to great schools!

I support policies that will make them even better: improving access to early childhood programs, providing choices so parents can find the best programs for their kids, strengthening K-12 academic standards to make sure students graduate ready for the future, providing more options to earn post-secondary credits in high school, holding the line on tuition increases at state schools, and tax relief for families saving for college and students paying back loans.

I believe teachers have the greatest impact on students and I will work to ensure the best teachers are in front of the classroom and have the resources needed to provide the best quality education for our kids.

I support fair funding for our local schools and will work to ensure taxpayer dollars are spent in the classroom. I also believe our schools will be improved by more local control and fewer state mandates.
