Jesse knows the vital importance of education. Always a strong vote for school funding, he helped lead the charge to anchor the Alaska College of Education at UAS.

Jesse wrote Juneau's equal rights law, making Juneau a great place for everyone to live, work, and raise a family.

Jesse invested in our Docks & Harbors. He knows the importance of commercial fishing to our economy and sport fishing to our families.

Jesse led Juneau's unprecedented support for Tlingit & Haida on Tribal land issues.

As chair of Juneau's Finance Committee, Jesse knows what it takes to craft a sustainable budget. A strong fiscal foundation is key to building a bright future for Alaska families and communities.
