Healthcare is a right and a public safety issue. Shevrin Jones believes that when you have healthy Floridians, then you have healthy communities. Florida should be the leader in ensuring that everyone is covered, and Medicaid should be expanded throughout the State of Florida.

SHEVRIN JONES WILL CONTINUE TO:
* Fight to pass laws that will protect people with pre-existing conditions from being denied coverage, and being charged more for their care.
* Fight to expand Medicaid in the State of Florida.
* Ensure that funding for the over 200,000 children on CHIP (Children Health Insurance Program) is always available and protected.
* Work to expand the needle exchange program across the State of Florida.
* Fight to end the opioid epidemic in our communities by supporting legislation to ensure all doctors participate in the prescription drug monitoring program.
