$428 million in property tax relief for Florida homeowners;
A three day back-to-school tax holiday;
Relief for Florida businesses through the elimination of sales tax when purchasing manufacturing equipment.

Led the effort to end corporate welfare in our state by vehemently opposing and voting against legislation that sought to give public funds to private businesses.

Proposed legislation to prohibit the use of public tax dollars for use in the construction or renovation of any professional sports facilities. The bill would also require that any sale of public land to a sports franchise be at fair market value.

Committed to job creation initiatives for the district and working with business leaders to boost the local economy.

Secured $1.8 million in funding for the University of Miami-Nova Southeastern University Center for Autism & Related Disabilities.

Supported expanding educational choice options for children and parents.

Proud to support our United States Military through the creation of an out-of-state tuition fee waiver for all active-duty service members.

Fought for property insurance reform to maintain fair rates for homeowners.

Sponsored and passed legislation which makes it easier for homeowners to appeal their property assessments while also increasing accountability and efficiency in the tax appeals process.

Created a bill passed by the Legislature which will make it easier for low-income seniors to keep their property tax exemption.

Supported affordable and accessible healthcare reform without becoming dependent on federal government mandates or funding
