I believe that parents and local educators should be the people to make decisions for our children's education, not career-long bureaucrats in government agencies. All three of my children graduated through the public school system and because of nearly monthly meetings with Wood County Superintendents, I have an even better grasp of what is going on across the district. That is also why I introduced HB 540, which has the support of teachers, parents, school administrators and school boards across Ohio. The bill updates the teacher evaluation system and ensures educators will be provided with reliable and relevant information to help meet the specific needs of our students.
